The change of foreign trade e-commerce logistics costs will take effect next week

A number of Amazon’s logistics fee changes will take effect on January 18, 2022 (except for the monthly storage fee which will take effect on February 1; the over-age storage fee will take effect on May 18), which will take effect next Thursday. Today, I will give you an inventory of the logistics costs that have changed. On the one hand, it can make it easy for everyone to check, on the other hand, according to the change of expenses, you can adjust your profit form, follow-up product selection, delivery, relocation, disposal, preprocessing, labeling and other plans in time. Amazon Backstage Seller Central Help > Getting Started with FBA > FBA Functions, Services, and Fees The notices are as follows: There are 6 specific changes in fees: 2022 FBA fulfillment fee changes, 2022 FBA monthly storage fees and overage inventory surcharges, 2022 Amazon sales commission changes, 2022 FBA removal and disposal order fees changes, 2022 FBA Small and Light fee changes, 2022 FBA Prep and Label service fee changes. ①From the perspective of adjustment, the average rate has increased by about 5.2%. These increased rates are used to balance the rising operation and maintenance costs. Although the magnitude is not large, if your store is large, the cost will be more obvious. ② For all large standard size products (except clothing), Amazon will use the greater of the product weight or dimensional weight to determine its shipping weight. Previously, the Amazon fulfillment fee rule was that for standard-sized products weighing no more than 1LB and special oversized items, the single-piece weight was used regardless of the volumetric weight. Now, the standard size of the large size with actual weight within 1 LB also depends on the volume weight, whichever is larger in volume weight and actual weight. Amazon delivery volume weight = (length, width and height)/139 (where the unit of volume weight is LB, and the unit of length, width and height is inch) ①The standard size of the monthly storage fee from January to September has been increased from $0.75 per cubic foot by $0.08 to $0.83; the bulky goods from January to September have been increased by 0.05 to $0.53 per cubic foot from $0.48 per cubic foot. The overall adjustment is not big, but acceptable. ②The monthly storage fee standard in peak season from October to December will not change. Still the standard size is $2.40 per cubic foot, and the oversized item is $1.20 per cubic foot. The storage fee in peak season is about 3 times of the usual price. Although it has not been raised, it is still very expensive. Everyone still needs to be cautious in stocking in peak season to avoid high storage costs caused by slow sales. ③ The long-term storage fee of $1.5 per cubic foot will be charged for redundant inventory stored in the operation center for 271-365 days, which has changed the previous regulation of charging long-term storage fees for more than 1 year. Everyone pays attention, when the inventory is the 9th month, you must find a way to dispose of it to avoid high long-term storage fees.
